ABOUT US

THE UFO-X

Unidentified Filming Operations has been working in the film industry for decades.  The company has worked on projects such as “Gone in 60 Seconds,” “Grinch,” “Bounce,” “Heartbreakers,” “Pearl Harbor,” “The Kid,” “Windtalkers,” “Big Fat Liar,” “Vanilla Sky,” “Sum of All Fears,” “Haunted Lighthouse,” “Red Dragon,” “Incredible Hulk,” “Charle’s Angels II,” “Big Bounce,” “The Last Samurai,” “Cellular,” “Paycheck,” “Be Cool,” “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,” “Kicking & Screaming,” “Monster In Law,” “Lords of Dog Town,” “Herby,” “Glory Road,” “The Island,” “My Friend Flicka,” “When a Stranger Calls,” “Mission Impossible 3,” “Pirates of the Caribbean 2,” “Pirates of the Caribbean 3,” many television shows, as well as numerous commercials and music videos.

Our company, UFO, designed, engineered, and manufactured a groundbreaking, self-powered, camera platform that will revolutionize the filming of motion pictures.  The UFO-X is a machine that took twelve years to design, engineer, and build.  We have seen extraordinary interest in our platform from the motion picture industry.  The principal reason for this interest is the cost savings and flexibility our platform brings.  For every motion picture, there are tremendous costs involved whenever the camera must be reset.  Talent may occasionally prefer to leave the set if it takes too long to reset the camera, and as a result more time is lost.  Unit production mangers and producers work very hard to shrink the time spent in resetting cameras, camera cranes, dolly tracks, and all the other issues that go along with the process.  Our camera and lighting platform will save the production entity from wasting time and money.

The concept of the UFO-X platform was shown to a number of the most respected key grips, unit production managers, directors of photography, producers, and co-producers in the industry.  Some of these cinematographers are Academy Award winners.  These professionals routinely create films with budgets of over $100 million.  Many of these industry professionals served as advisors to our project, literally giving us advice on what characteristics and performance functions such a platform should have.

The UFO-X can also travel very easily to other states or countries.  Unidentified Filming Operations has been all over the continental United States of America, and has also been overseas including locations in Hawaii and New Zealand.  The capabilities of the UFO-X in combination with its mobility make it a very unique piece of specialty equipment.  The video below is a compilation of the UFO-X in action.
